Every week I will participate in several Fantasy Premier League freerolls, and will publish the team of players I have selected for that particular fantasy football league. The reason I will play with different operators/bookmakers is because of the different rules sets these platforms use. In other words: every player has a different value in the different Fantasy Premier Leagues.
This week’s FantasyBet Freeroll entails 7 matches, spread over three days. One match of gameweek 35 already took place, Crystal Palace and Everton drew in a scoreless match, and two matches will be played the 10th and 11th of May: West ham United versus Manchester United and Norwich City versus Watford.

In this article I have published the team with which I’ll try to storm the ranks in the FantasyBet Weekend Freeroll Gameweek 35. Per line you will find my picks accompanied by the reasoning behind the selection. This week my team plays in a 4-4-2 formation.
My goalie this week was a matter of choosing between Joe Hart, Fraser Forster and Kasper Schmeichel. My money is on Fraser Forster as his side Southampton is playing already relegated Aston Villa who totally lack striking power and only managed to find the net once in its last 6 matches.
My defence this week consists to start with of Virgil van Dijk. For him goes the same as for Fraser Foster. My second pick is Toby Alderweireld. One of the leaders in a strong Tottenham defence and also regularly on the score sheet for his team. The last two spots in my defense are reserved for Robert Huth and Christian Fuchs, both from league leaders Leicester City. At home against the Swans, and with an incredible record of 5 clean sheets in their last 6 matches, I think Leicester City should be more than capable of making that 6 out of 7.
As a result of composing a rather cheap defense I’m not shy on cash when it comes to picking my midfielders. My midfield this week will star 4 fantasy football scoring machines. From Arsenal I pick Alexis Sánchez, who seems to be near his old self again and an away match at Sunderland should provide a great opportunity for the Chilean to tank confidence. Also from Arsenal I bring Mesut Özil into the team. My first choice would have been Kevin de Bruyne, but he won’t be in City’s starting XI. Since his return in the starting XI of City the team seems to be playing much better. From Liverpool I chose Roberto Firmino. Should be Liverpool’s main striker so that’s an advantage and with Newcastle United lined up a great opponent as well. My last spot goes to Tottenham Hotspur youngster Dele Alli. The 20-year old racks up one great game after the other accompanied by goals and assists.
Two of my attackers are fantasy household names, players we have seen in many lineups throughout the season: Sergio Agüero (home versus Stoke City) and Harry Kane (home versus West Bromwich Albion). Both players are in top shape, they both have very favorable opponents this week and for both teams there’s a lot at stake.
Johnny’s Fantasy Premier League line-up
Chosing a captain, which gives you double points, is a two horse race between Sergio Agüero and Harry Kane, with the first one coming on top. There is just no denying in the Argentinian’s fire power.
